Real Time Gaming powered slot machines (some) have what is called a random jackpot. I was told the random jackpot is winnable to every player regardless of how much they are wagering however in playing the slot tournaments I was presented with these results.

Playing the tournaments and the real money casino both about the same amount of time, I hit about half a dozen random jackpots compared to only hitting once in real money play. Of course it is possible that is just the way the cards were dealt but I believe it is also very possible that the random jackpots are paying out more often to people who are wagering the higher stakes credit values.
My reason for this is when you play the slot tournaments (at club USA: see right column for link) the tournaments are on a timer which forces players to play at the highest stakes possible in order to win as much as possible in the time allotted. If all else is the same, yet I have hit the random jackpot six times more often playing at the higher stakes, it is an easy jump to the conclusion mentioned.

If you read the above then you’re already on to what I have to say in this section. Yes that’s right, I am concerned that the slot tournaments are not representative of how the slot games will perform in the real money casino section. Based on my experience it is possible the tournaments are looser than the real money games with the other choice being that the random jackpot offered in many of the RTG video slots pay back at a better rate if you are playing at higher stakes than otherwise.
